I heard of those archivable grade DVDs but since they cost a bomb, I rather use hard disks as well. Currently my twin pair of WD 500Gb Home HDDs still serve me well. Probably get another pair next year. Hopefully by then, the 1TB versions will probably drop in price!

I use PhotoShelter to backup some plus three firewire portable hard drives that I keep upstate NY. Otherwise, my apartment's 1.5TB RAID5 array does the trick.

Oops. I just use a USB disk. Not many photos-mah.
