That way you can use up to 16Gb of RAM. Unless you can try the Mac Pro which allows 8 cores at 3.2GHz and up to 32Gb or RAM.

The 2.4Ghz quad just dropped to RM700 so I can consider that. No 64-bit Photoshop yet so anything more than 8Gb is excessive for me! Probably go to 6Gb first.
Still need to buy new camera body
