No diesel!
What a stupid morning. Of course it’s Wednesday but imagine waking up a bit late (due to over-snoozing the alarm clock) and then realizing that you have to visit three stations to fill up. The first two stations had a big yellow sign on every diesel pump that says “Kuota Diesel habis” or basically, they’ve run out of diesel fuel and their quota’s exhausted. Silly subsidy and road tax scheme is the big cause. I say drop the subsidies and the road tax to gasoline levels and this won’t happen.
The Star has quite a few articles…
Diesel shortage
Search for supply can be long and futile
Don’t blame us, says Petrol Dealers Association
Replenish diesel supplies
Quote of the day
Been a long time since I put a quote on the blog…

Canon CPS articles
Canon Professional Services (CPS) Europe’s latest issue has some interesting articles. Two of which I’ll highlight here. One is going back to the basics of Photography – Black and White, or more correctly, monochrome. It’s also a short tutorial on converting color images to B&W. Read it here. Another interesting read is the article on image sharpness, resolution and scaling. It provides some insight about the printing industry in general. Take a look here.
If Dogs wrote laws…
It the Italian city of Turin, it seems that as a dog owner, you’d need to walk your pets at least three times a day, or be fined. You are also prohibited from dyeing their pets’ fur or “any form of animal mutilation.”
In Turin it will be illegal to turn one’s dog into a ridiculous fluffy toy![]()
